He co-founded, and has written numerous reviews within the Cochrane collaboration. Among his research findings are that many meta-analyses have data extraction errors. He has been critical of the research methods and interpretations of other scientists using meta-analysis of the data from multiple studies. "Thank you for this invaluable combination of presentations. I have studied and practised medicine for some 48 years. The last four plus years, almost entirely psychopharmacology and psychotropic drug toxicology. These are amongst the most brilliantly prepared, researched and delivered expert lectures that I have studied. Powerful, precise and highly regarded learning experience."
